Founded in 1990, Dixie Infra‑Red & Industrials is a local, family-owned Manufacturer’s Representative and Stocking Distributor of energy‑efficient commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and processing equipment based in the Nashville, TN area. 

While gas infra‑red heating remains our core specialty, our product offering has expanded over the decades to include electric infra‑red heaters, HVLS fans, make‑up air systems, fabric duct, fans, louvers, vehicle exhaust removal systems, LED lighting, and gas and electric unit heaters.

Our company’s roots in infra‑red heating extend even deeper. Our founder began working with infra‑red technology in the late 1960s and worked as an engineer for Detroit Radiant in the early 1970s. This technical foundation shaped our commitment to engineering‑driven solutions, proper application, and long‑term system performance.

We maintain a substantial inventory of heaters, accessories, and replacement parts in our Nashville warehouse, allowing us to provide immediate shipment or convenient local pick‑up. Our stocking capability ensures faster project turnaround and dependable support for contractors, engineers, and end users.

To ensure every project receives the right equipment and layout, we offer free design services including system sizing, application review, and equipment placement. Our design support helps customers achieve optimal comfort, efficiency, and code compliance.
